Sheridan Shaw
Sheridan was admitted in the Supreme Court in 2016 and called to the Bar in 2021.
Prior to joining the private bar, Sheridan worked for the Queensland Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions in the Rockhampton, Brisbane and Cairns offices. Through that work Sheridan gained a passion for the criminal law and criminal advocacy.
Since joining chambers in Rockhampton Sheridan has expanded her practice to include personal injuries law, as well as general commercial litigation. She has thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of taking on new areas of practice.
Sheridan routinely appears in jury trials in the District Court of Queensland. She has an aptitude for quickly getting across large briefs and providing prompt advice on them.
